Brandy Caramel Sauce

Instructions
Add cubes of butter to skillet over medium heat. Once melted, add in the brown sugar.
Mix until the sugar has dissolved completely.
Add in the brandy. Carefully, light the liquid on fire to burn off the alcohol. You can also, cook off the alcohol without the fire, just be sure not to burn the sugars.
*If not using alcohol, skip this step and use 1/4 cup milk*
After the alcohol is cooked off, add the spices, salt, and milk. Mix until everything comes together.
Cook on low for a couple more minutes. Then, remove from heat and serve immediately for best results.

1/4 cup Brandy
2 Tbsp full-fat coconut milk
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
pinch of salt
