Spicy Wontons in Chili Oil Sauce

Instructions
Heat the both the sesame and vegetable/avocado oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the onion, garlic, chili flakes and ginger. Cook for about 2 minutes or until golden and fragrant.
Add the plant-based ground meat and cook until heated thoroughly and browned.
Add in the soy sauce, vinegar, and brown sugar. Cook about one more minute. Add in the green onions, and the salt/pepper if needed. Remove from heat and let cool.
Make the dumplings by filling each wonton wrapper with 1 teaspoon of filling. Using a finger dipped in water, get all four edges of the wrapper wet and fold into a triangle. Wet one corner of the wonton and bring the opposite corner to overlap, squeeze together until it sticks. Do this for all the wontons until no more filling is left.
Make the dipping sauce by adding all the ingredients together. Mix until it is well combined.
Bring water to boil or if you have a steamer, prep the dumpling steamer. Once water is boiling, add the wontons in small batches and cook for just about 2 minutes.
Remove from the boiling water and plate on your serving dish. Spoon the sauce over the top with addition green onions if desired.

1 Tbsp Avocado or Vegetable oil
1 tsp Sesame Oil
3 Garlic Cloves, minced
1/2 Large Onion, finely chopped
1 Tbsp Ginger, minced
1/2 tsp Chili Pepper Flakes
1 lbs Plant-Based Meat
3 Tbsp Soy Sauce
1 & 1/2 Tbsp Rice Vinegar
1 & 1/2 Tbsp Brown Sugar
2 Stalks Green Onion, chopped
1 Package Vegan Wonton Wrappers
Salt & Pepper, to taste
For Sauce
1 Tbsp Rice Vinegar
1 tsp Maple Syrup
3 Tbsp Soy Sauce
1 Tbsp Chili Oil
1/4 tsp Chili Pepper Flakes
1/4 Cup Green Onions
